Uncle Fergus’ street cat rescue Cyprus

My friend Fergus moved to Cyprus in 2022 and has taken on the huge task, along with some other amazing people, to care for and TnR as many of the street cats as they can. Anyone who has been to Cyprus knows that it’s an overwhelming mission, and since the government does not support the cause, they pay for everything themselves. I (living in Barcelona) created this group to help them out a bit. I know the money will 100% go to the right cause and people.

Fergus has been helping cats in Cyprus for almost two years now and he has been paying EVERYTHING out of pocket. He himself is in charge of a colony of about 20 cats he takes care of on a daily basis. He also supplies several colonies in town with food and medications/vet visits, and he supports other caring individuals with trapping and neutering cats on weekends. This group is an attempt to support him at least a little bit. Every little bit helps!

Because of his injuries, Gio doesn't have full control over his bodily functions so needs a lot of absorbant pet flooring pads and medicines to try to strengthen his muscles. He is a happy and gentle boy and slowly getting better.
