Al Sur de Etiopía, en una región rural y con muy pocos recursos económicos, se encuentra el Hospital de Gambo, hospital misionero que ofrece asistencia sanitaria a todos los habitantes de la región e incluso recibe a las personas más pobres de zonas alejadas al tratarse de uno de los hospitales más baratos del país. La población padece desnutrición severa, deshidratación, malaria, tuberculosis, sida, neumonía, meningitis, y son los niños la población más vulnerable y afectada.

SARA lleva desde 1986 ayudando a los animales abandonados de la isla de Lanzarote, dándoles cobijo, curándolos y encontrándoles hogares donde sean felices. Actualmente lo formamos un grupo de amantes de los animales que hacemos lo imposible por seguir adelante y sobretodo hacer que las cosas cambien concienciando a la población con campañas de sensibilización. Para ello, es necesaria toda la colaboración económica que sea posible ya que, en estos momentos mantenemos a casi 400 animales.

Eres mi Héroe es un grupo creado con la intención de ayudar a mejorar la calidad de vida de Iván (www.eresmiheroe.com). Iván nació con cataratas e hipotonía. Los médicos creen que tiene una enfermedad rara de origen genético llamada Síndrome de Rubinstein-Taybi. Iván tiene 18 dioptrías y un 72% de minusvalía. Our work is completely altruistic. We rescue abandoned and in poor condition animals from the streets. We recover them and look for homes where they can be happy. We do not have subsidies, so the importance of donations is vital for our existence. We are a group of animal-loving volunteers who work hard every day to save the most defenseless. We also sterilize feline colonies. And we denounce cases of animal abuse
