Patas Callejeras was created in 2018 to share the daily adventures of a manager and her cats in a feline colony, where they are fed, sterilized, dewormed, and receive veterinary care. Although they don't live in a conventional home, the colony is their home, and they deserve the same rights, care, and affection. Together, we can make a difference in their well-being and future.

In addition to managing a feline colony, my home has become a temporary refuge for those in need of recovery. Here, they receive the love and necessary treatments to heal and move forward. We are a small group working for the well-being of feral/abandoned cats in Valencia. Using the TNR approach, we began 6 years ago with our neighbourhood colony of some 20 cats; many of whom you can see in the updates. Control of our own colony's population means that we are now able to help other street cats: trapping /sterilising, seeking fostering / adoption where possible, treating sick animals, relocating others to controlled locations where they can be safe.
