We give DRINKING WATER to families in Yemen who were displaced from their homes by more than 8 years of war. Yemen is the biggest humanitarian emergency on the planet and is suffering from a cholera epidemic and shocking infant mortality. OCC is a registered nonprofit organisation active in both Barcelona (Spain) and Polykastro (Greece), working towards the inclusion of refugees and migrants through educational and cultural activities. We work mainly with volunteers to offer language classes, technical workshops, sports activities, cultural events, and women and children’s support. At the same time, we work on an international level with many European partners to increase our social impact.

€1 per month represents adequate food for 10 days for a school child in the refugee camps where we work. To be specific: the basic food of these little ones, consisted only of a bowl of rice with Dhal, (a lentil-based soup).
