Il Rifugio Fata, sede di Lamezia della Lega Nazionale per la Difesa del Cane, si occupa di ospitare, rimettere in salute e trovare casa ai randagi vaganti sul territorio.Accoglie un numero variabile di soggetti, superiore ai 120 individui, ognuno con la sua storia e la sua personalità. Collaboriamo con educatori cinofili professionisti per aiutare gli adottanti a creare una relazione profonda col nuovo membro della famiglia,promuovendo parallelamente campagne di sensibilizzazione sul randagismo.
Rifugio Fata dog shelter was officially established by three women in 2004, but this compassionate endeavor traces its origins back to 1998, when they began caring for stray animals on the voluntary basis in an area overwhelmed by stray dogs. Today, the shelter houses 120 dogs and cats providing abandoned or mistreated animals with shelter, food, individual care, socialization training, medical treatment, vaccinations, microchipping, and spaying/neutering. These animals are then lovingly prepared and offered for adoption into kind and reliable homes all over Europe. As a private shelter, we are entirely dependent on donations.
