Web: pueblosvivoscuenca.es In recent years there has been an increase in the number of large-scale pig farms in the province, which overexploit our scarce water resources and poison them with nitrates. We oppose these projects by legal means, informative talks, demonstrations... In 2023 RTVE (public TV company) awarded us the Escarabajo Verde award for our work since 2017.
With your donation you help us to cover many of our expenses: the cost of the lawyers who draft the allegations and lawsuits against macro-farming projects, water analysis in the villages where macro-farms are located, organisation of informative talks and demonstrations, maintenance of our website... NGO Pueblos Vivos Cuenca does not receive funds from public administrations or companies.
