El objetivo de esta ONG consiste en proporcionar acceso a asistencia médica básica a los niños de la aldea de Kombani, cuyas familias no cuentan con recursos económicos para costearla; además de escolarizarlos y garantizarles una comida al día. Actualmente hay 113 niños apadrinados a quienes mejoramos a diario sus condiciones de vida. El proyecto en sí se financia mediante apadrinamientos. Es decir que, por 12€ al mes, las necesidades básicas de todos estos niños quedan cubiertas.

We are an NGO linked to the Tropical Medicine Unit of the Ramón y Cajal Hospital (Madrid). With your contribution, we offer interpretation and mediation services in health centers. Somos Asturies por África una ongd asturiana que trabaja desde el año 2008 en Gambia. Hemos construido una Nursery School en la localidad de N´dunghu Kebbeh en la que se escolariza a 120 alumn@s de entre 3 y 7 años. La educación, los uniformes, el material escolar y una comida diaria (en muchos casos la única que pueden tener) son gratuitos. ¡Con tan solo 1€ comen cada día 7 niñ@s de la Nursery School ! The health system has completely collapsed amid outbreaks of disease and serious injuries caused by the constant bombardment. Despite this, our teams continue to work tirelessly to save lives.

Educa Gambia es un proyecto solidario, sin animo de lucro,que consta, en primer lugar,de un colegio infantil con 121 niñ@s de la aldea de Faraba Sutu en Gambia, que les proporciona educación , asistencia médica y alimentación gratuita, y en segundo lugar , en la colaboración con las mujeres de la aldea, con la creación de huertas comunitarias con un mercado de venta, donde ellas puedan prosperar y ser autosuficientes.
