La caponera Manresana

In 2017, a group of residents of La Floresta started a cooperative action aimed at facilitating the continuity of primary school students at the Cusmají school. It was about financing the transport in a caponera, of 4 young people aged 12/16 to the high school in Palacagüina. Now, they are asking us to be able to expand this initial number and move to 7/8 teenagers in the next 4 years. From the Manresa, we make this second caponera, La Manresana, possible. Can we count on you?

Adolescent high school students from the community of Cusmají (Nicaragua)

It is a project that opens the door to the possibility that some of the teenagers between 12 and 16 years of age in the Cusmají community can continue studying. Without this project, abandonment is almost certain, due to the distance to the Palacagüina high school. Completing secondary school allows them the training they will need to break the dynamics of economic marginality and opening up the possibility of higher studies, bringing added value to their communities in the face of their social transformation. From the Comarca del Bages, we want to support the initial project of La Floresta, while making a second caponera possible. Achieving by 2025-2028, for 4 years, that a total of 7-8 boys and girls can go to high school and not be forced to work on coffee plantations or other unqualified jobs. We count on you!

Hola amics i amigues. Aquest és el tercer mes que la caponera manresana fa el transport dels nostres apadrinats des de Cusmají a l’institut de Palacagüina.
I tenim notícies i noves fotos dels alumnes que utilitzen la Caponera Manresa. Recordar-vos que són Randy Alexander, Sandor Isaac, Junior Alexander i la Yaritza Massiel.
La directora de l’escola de Cusmají , la Meyling, ens fa saber que el nois i noies estan molt il·lusionats amb l’inici de la seva etapa a l’Institut. Les seves paraules: “ Todo marcha bien, los niños están motivados con su traslado, siempre temprano esperando para asistir a clases. Por lo pronto están dando su mayor esfuerzo y dedicación a sus lecciones y disfrutando de su beneficio, gracias a ustedes…““...hice fotografías de ellos antes, durante y después de su traslado para que puedan acercarse un poco ustedes a nuestra realidad.”
Hem explicat a la Meyling què i com celebrem Sant Jordi a casa nostra i ens va contestar “me parece muy bien, lo pondremos en práctica en la escuela. Gracias por compartir con nosotros un poco de ustedes.”
