We are a family that takes care of approximately 60 colony cats in the Torrevieja area in Spain. Colony cats are cats that don't live in a house, but who call a certain place outside their home. We feed these cats and provide medical care. The costs per week for just food is around 40 euros, adding the medical care this is too much for us to fund. We also rescue sick or abandoned kittens and take them in our home to provide care. Once they are ready, we find suitable homes for them.

We are a dog shelter in Xabia, Alicante, Spain set up in 1999. Our shelter provides a safe place for dogs that have been lost, abandoned, mistreated, or given up by their owners until they can find their forever home. We are a large shelter who rely mainly on donations for the general running costs of the shelter and the care of the dogs. We supply medication, food, shelter and care for our dogs every day of the week all year round, and care for them as they are our own.

More than 70 cats that have been rescued from the streets live in the Feline Forest, with many spaces to run and play, trees to climb, as well as in home beds and shelters. We have buildt and fenced facilities especially for them, but this project does not receive any funds from the goverment, only particular donations, and that is why we need your help to continue to care for them. We need volunteers also to visit us!

A registered charitable Animal Rescue organization set up by founder Jacqui Ross in 2012 - Charity Nº 11207. Last Chance Animal Rescue has one aim - to help animals in need. We get no government funding for our work and so rely entirely on charitable donations. Every day brings new animals into the rescue, saved from the streets, from lives of neglect, abuse and abandonment. We repair, rehabilitate and rehome. For those unable to be homed we offer a lifetime with us as a sanctuary animal.
