SOS Cat has existed since March 2011. We do not run an animal shelter and work for SOS Cat purely on a voluntary basis in our free time! Expensive treatments/operations and months of care are often required. Even motherless babies who have to be bottle-fed and very high-maintenance cats are placed in foster homes that have the time and knowledge to do so. Very special handicap cats that cannot be adopted are also part of our families!

We contribute to fund the mission of the Richi Childhood Cancer Foundation so that all children and adolescents with cancer have a better prognosis and quality of life. More information: http://www.richifoundation.org

A Osteogénese Imperfeita (OI) é um grupo de doenças hereditárias responsáveis por graus variados de fragilidade óssea. Um traumatismo minor é suficiente para causar fracturas e deformações ósseas. Geralmente é utilizada uma classificação em 5 tipos. A OI é causada por mutações nos genes COL1A1 ou COL1A2. A terapia com Pamidronato na infância é o tratamento mais extensamente estudado, tendo-se provado benéfico.

PAWS WITHOUT A NAME is a non-profit animal welfare organization that helps to alleviate the suffering of nameless street dogs in Bosnia. We arrange for the dogs to be rescued, bring them to safety and take care not only of veterinary care but also regular donations of food.
