Cada año 7.000 aves, mamíferos, reptiles y anfibios (casi veinte animales al día de media) ingresan en el Hospital de Fauna Salvaje de GREFA, en Majadahonda (Madrid), para ser atendidos de las más diversas lesiones o patologías. La prioridad de nuestros veterinarios y rehabilitadores de fauna, asistidos por el voluntariado de GREFA, es devolver a su hábitat natural a esta fauna, una vez que vuelven a alcanzar las condiciones idóneas para la vida en libertad.
