Our motto is “We can only protect what we know about” and the oceans remain the big unknown and are consequently poorly protected. CORI was established in 2019 as a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the protection of the oceans through exploration and public outreach, developing open-source technologies accessible to all. Our main objective is to bring the oceans closer to society to raise awareness of the need to protect them.
