#Shame

We are #ashamed of our #vulva. Even as small children we are not allowed to call it by name. Shame on you. 



Then we are ashamed because we are #toobeautiful. It is our own #fault that men #bother us.

We are also ashamed when we do not dress nicely. Then we don’t take enough care of ourselves.



We are ashamed, when we use a #filter. Without even more. 



We are ashamed when we have our #period. Also when we do not have it. Then something is not #right. We are also ashamed of #menopause. When our period stops. 



We are ashamed when we want to #work. When we love our work. When we earn more than our husbands. We are ashamed when we want to stay with the children. Then we are #lazy. Then we do not do anything #important. 



We are ashamed of our #body parts, our #breasts are too big or too small, our #bottom too, #sagging skin, wrinkles, thin #hair, no hair, too much hair in the wrong places. 



We are ashamed when we have too much #lust. Also when we have too little lust. 



The fact that the guy is #aggressive is our fault anyway. When our partner becomes #violent – our fault. 



We are ashamed when he #leaves. Even more so when we leave. 



#FemaleShame is a product of #patriarchal power structures. We are supposed to be ashamed. The shame must change sides. Then we are #free.
