We are a tiny animal rescue helping donkeys and mules in the north of Spain (we are located in the eastern part of Asturias). We are not a sanctuary, but we help find good adoption homes for donkeys in need. We provide a temporary home for donkeys, always with the objective to prepare them for an adoption: we rescue, treat medical or behavioural problems, and find an adoption home.

TENEMOS ALGO QUE ANUNCIAR...

... ¿Y quien mejor para hacerlo que Manu, uno de nuestros gatos? ¡Tenemos establo!
Desde el principio de nuestro pequeño proyecto en enero de 2024 hemos querido acoger a burros en nuestras propias fincas. Muchas veces hay burros que necesiten un sitio donde puedan quedarse temporalmente. Porque tienen problemas físicos o de comportamiento, porque todavía no están castrados o simplemente porque no tienen techo sobre sus cabezas.
A partir de ahora tenemos una de nuestras fincas privadas lista para darles exacto eso: un techo, donde pueden refugiarse de la lluvia o del mal tiempo. Donde podemos cuidarles a diairo con todo lo que necesiten y buscarles adoptantes responsables sin prisa.
El establo también cuenta con un pequeño sitio para nuestros amigos felinos. Manu os presenta: ¡El Mirador de los Gatos!
Es probable que los primeros burros vienen pronto. Os seguimos contando...

... And who else could do this better than Manu, one of our cats? We have a stable!
From the beginning of our little project in January 2024 we wanted to be able to take up donkeys on our own fincas. Very often donkeys need a temporary place to stay. Because they have physical or behavioural problems, because they aren't castrated yet or just because they don't have a roof over their heads.
From now on one of our fincas is ready for exactly that: a roof, to hide from the rain and bad weather. A place where we can take daily care of them and give them everything they need, and in the mean time find them a forever home without rush.
The stable also has a little spot for our feline friends. Manu proudly presents: The Cat Lookout!
It is likely that our first donkeys will arrive soon. We'll keep you posted...
