The Associació de Familiars de persones afectades per la malaltia d'Alzheimer del Vallès Occidental was created in 2007 to offer counselling, support and care to people who have dementia, their families and the people who take care of them. Through the different services we offer we work with the objective of promoting their well-being.

We consider essential that people with dementia can attribute meaning to their experiences. One of the ways we can achieve this is for them to become an active part of the creation process. For this we have ClicMe Inclusió: photography opens a world to discover and they enter without prejudices! The purpose of the project is to create a link between past and present through photography, offering a space for socialization and exchange, leaving illness aside. This way they review their life history and at the same time stimulate their cognitive abilities. This workshop is essential to promote new ways of looking at the world and looking at theirselves, however we currently need funding to be able to continue offering it in the coming months. To carry out this workshop we have a specialized worker and two support workers, assuming a cost of 5,200 euros per year. Can you help us maintain it?

Hola a tots i totes!
Primer de tot, moltes gràcies per seguir al nostre costat, donant suport econòmic a les persones que ho necessiten.
Us volem informar que gràcies a les subvencions públiques i privades, al coopagament del servei i a les aportacions econòmiques de persones com vosaltres, actualment el Respir camina, més o menys, per si sol. A més, hem entrat a un concurs de l’Ajuntament de Sant Cugat, en el qual hem guanyat 3.393€ per oferir noves activitats a l’Espai Respir.
No podem dir el mateix del Servei d’Atenció domiciliària, que suposa un cost molt elevat per l’entitat i que actualment, amb la situació actual, és el servei més demandat. Així que hem valorat destinar els vostres esforços cap aquest projecte que tant us necessita!
