Fundació MONA rescata primats que han estat artistes de circ,de televisió o, fins i tot, mascotes. Molts han patit llargs anys en absoluta solitud i condicions terribles. El nostre centre de rehabilitació els proporciona una excel·lent llar,on es recuperen vivint en companyia dels seus congèneres, en un entorn natural i respectuós. Fundación MONA tiene que cambiar de ubicación. Y necesitamos urgentemente fondos para poder iniciar las obras del nuevo centro. Ya contamos con los nuevos terrenos donde poder seguir llevando a cabo nuestras funciones de rescate y rehabilitación de primates, educación y sensibilización y estudios de etología, pero no tenemos el capital extra que requiere poder empezar de cero, y mantener simultaneamente el centro actual funcionando.
