Since December 2017, I have managed a colony alone in the Alzira industrial estate, 30km from my house. I am in charge of feeding, sterilizing, deworming and all the care they require, such as testing or vaccinating, treatments doctors and manage adoptions. In addition to our permanent cats, we feed those that wander around the polygon and provide them with shelters to sleep in. I need financial help to be able to pay for everything they need because I cannot cope with everything alone.

Desde la protectora de animales Lacua, junto con una red de voluntarios y con el apoyo municipal, ha puesto en marcha un proyecto para el control de las colonias felinas de la ciudad, mediante el método CES. Actualmente tenemos registradas más de 30 colonias felinas sin control alguno, lo que supone atropellos diarios, peleas, descontrol y desprotección de los gatos que las habitan. El dinero recaudado lo destinaremos a la esterilización y alimentación de los gatos/as de colonias.

CES Cabo Huertas we are a group of individuals who fight for the welfare of street cats in the area that we live in Alicante. We take care of feeding them, take care of them, take them to the veterinarian when it is needed and sterilize them to give them a better quality of life, within the dangers that run on the street. For this reason we also try to get them out of there and get them good homes, both for adoption and welcome. Most of us finance it from our pockets.
