Betilagun, an association in Vitoria-Gasteiz that protects animals. The organization is made up of volunteers who's goal is to rescue animals, take care of them and find them a home. In some cases, they need special and expensive surgeries which are difficult for the association to afford. That said, all donations are welcome and would be appreciated. Kittens Shelter for Leukemic Cats. On April 9th, 2021, the 8 babies of Bombay were born, a kitten rescued 21 days earlier from the street. An angel suffering from 3 mastitis since giving birth, yet continuing to breastfeed her babies. Two months later, we find out that both the 8 babies and Bombay are positive for Leukemia, and today 'Bombay Family' begins to fulfill a dream and not abandon the weakest at the worst moment. GAB is an association that fights against the mistreatment and abandonment of the Ratonero Bodeguero Andaluz. This breed is used for hunting and when they are "no longer useful" they are abandoned. It is the same problem as with galgos and podencos, except that the bodegueros are not such a well known breed. The money raised goes directly to pay for the dogs' homes, which cost 100 euros per month per dog, plus countless veterinary expenses. Every euro counts to keep saving dogs.

Son muchos los animales mayores y ancianos que tenemos en la protectora, estas criaturas permanecerán hasta el fin de sus días con nosotras, tienen problemas de huesos ( movilidad) de visión, alimentaria, otitis y dermatitis crónicas, tienen mucha medicación y cuidados especiales, alguno de ellos usan pañales para dormir. Analíticas constante. Son muchos gastos, esta ayuda va para ellos, para mantener su salud y así garantizar su calidad de vida el tiempo que estén con nosotras. Gracias!!!

Every year, at AMUS Wildlife Hospital, we give a second chance to more than 2,000 injured, sick, or orphaned wild animals. Behind every patient is a story of struggle and hope. Since 2008, at the Miranda Foundation we have rescued 80 horses that lived in difficult situations and mistreatment, isolation and abandonment and we have given them a life in freedom. In order to continue with our objective, we need financial resources. Now more than ever, the drought situation forces us to supplement the feeding of the horses and consumes our resources. O Mateo nasceu com uma mutação extremamente rara no gene Nek8, que provoca a deterioração dos seus órgãos. Não existem estudos, investigações, tratamentos nem remédios… Aos 9 meses de idade, foi submetido a um transplante de fígado e, aos 3 anos, a um transplante de rim. No futuro, irá necessitar de uma cirurgia cardíaca e, eventualmente, de um transplante de coração. Existe uma equipa de investigação capaz de contribuir para travar a sua doença, mas esta necessita de financiamento (62 000 € por ano).

Our dogs and cats need their food ration and their daily pills. Many of them are victims of accidents that require expensive surgeries and chronic diseases. In addition, in order to take care of them as they deserve, we must maintain our hostel with all the costs that this entails. SOS Galgos is a non-profit charity, whose aim is to rescue Spanish galgos.

All animal shelters are facing a shortage of foster homes, and at La Gatcueva we believe we can lend a hand with an ambitious and unique project: a collaborative foster home. This team aims to open a shelter open to visitors for stray, lost, or abandoned cats. Not only for the cats we rescue, but also to take in cats from any other person or organization in the country that needs them.
