In Senegal, hundreds of children walk more than 5 km to attend class, they get up very early to walk without barely having breakfast. When their classes end they must take the same route. This group has the purpose of helping Bicicletas sin Fronteras, creator of a school bicycle transportation system. Every 240 euros we raise will be used to sponsor a Baobike, which allows students in rural areas of Senegal to go to school with equal opportunities.
In Senegal, hundreds of boys and girls walk more than 5 kilometers to go to class. They get up before dawn, barely have breakfast and start walking. When they leave class, they walk the path in reverse. They come home tired and without energy to study. And the next day, start again. Bicycles without Borders has created a school bicycle transport system so that all these students can go to class with more energy and improve their academic performance. The project has been running since 2015 and more than 7,000 students have already benefited. For every €240, we can deliver a new bicycle to the project.

Esta semana se ha hecho la entrega de las nuevas Baobike 3.0.
Después de meses de trabajo, pruebas y mejoras, las Baobike 3.0 ya están en manos de quienes las necesitan. Bicicletas pensadas para durar, para resistir caminos difíciles y, sobre todo, para acercar la escuela y las oportunidades.
Esta semana se han entregado las Baobike 3.0 en el CEM de Ndiol Mangane y en el CEM La Somone, donde ya están siendo utilizadas por niños y niñas que cada día recorren largos trayectos para poder ir a la escuela.
Nada de esto sería posible sin el compromiso de todas las personas que confían en el proyecto y lo hacen avanzar día a día.
Seguimos pedaleando juntas y juntos.
