Albergue La Esperanza de Villarrobledo lleva más de 20 años rescatando a miles de animales en una zona gravemente castigada por el abandono y el maltrato animal. La media de ocupación no baja de 200 perros. Cuidarlos y buscarles hogar es el objetivo primordial de este refugio, para el cual ponen todo su empeño. Ahora se enfrentan a un nuevo reto: construir un nuevo refugio. Toda ayuda es poca y 1 euro/mes no es nada, pero si somos muchos LO CONSEGUIRAN. ¡Gracias mil!

Somos un grupo de niños/as que tenemos el síndrome de duplicación mecp2, que nos produce retraso mental, psicomotor y de lenguaje, insomnio, infecciones respiratorias, esteriotipias… crisis epilépticas que nos producen regresión. Santuario Vegan was born in 2011 with the purpose that we work for every day of the year: saving and protecting farmed animals. Thanks to your support, more than 300 residents: horses, donkeys, cows, bulls, sheep, goats, pigs and poultry were saved from a certain death. Here, they receive love, care and health treatment in a natural space away from exploitation.

Following Israel's relentless and indiscriminate attacks on Gaza over several months of war, families are drinking unsafe water and going days without food. The health system has completely collapsed amid outbreaks of disease and serious injuries caused by the constant bombardment. Despite this, our teams continue to work tirelessly to save lives.

After 12 years of crisis, humanitarian needs in Syria have reached unprecedented levels. Millions of Syrians have been forcibly displaced to neighboring countries, and the more than 6 million internally displaced are struggling to overcome immense challenges exacerbated by the earthquake of 2023. UNHCR continues to support them with, among other things, stoves and fuel for generating heat, thermal insulation for tents and winter clothing.  Photo © UNHCR/Claire Thomas
