Nasaud, Romania - 800 kilometers away from Vienna, there is the shelter that houses the poor souls from Romania: former street dogs, abandoned, abused and persecuted dogs that never had a home, probably never enough food and certainly no loving hand . These dogs spend their lives in a dilapidated animal shelter - some for years - and want nothing more than a home. Being there for them is the task of our “Poor Dog Souls from Romania” association, which was founded in 2015 and is based in Lower Austria and has an officially approved premises. We take care of the placement and health of the dogs, as well as the expansion and maintenance of the animal shelter. We constantly organize and finance free castration campaigns on site, raise awareness among the population about street dogs, and provide information. But we can only do all of this with the help of donations.
