In Ethiopia, the responsibility of supplying the vital resource of water to the family falls on girls and women, who dedicate precious hours to this obligation that could be spent at school. Much of Ethiopia's population does not have access to safe drinking water and adequate sanitation. The drought is further exacerbating this situation. ADS is working to provide clean water to the affected population.
