Congenital Heart Disease affects 8 out of 1,000 born children in Spain. It's origin is totally uncertain. Apaci has been working since 2005 for the families affected of these conditions. We have for them different activities and projects, being the most important: - The service of family accommodation, where our families can stay when they have to go to Madrid for them to receive social care assistance. - Psicosocial rehabilitation with our psychologist.
We will allocate the donations to our Family Accommodation Service, our small home in Madrid, where families must go to receive assistance, since in Asturias we do not have a cardio-pediatric surgery service.
