Together with our partners, animal keepers and volunteers we contribute to the protection of the most threatened animals on our planet – turtles. With 250 different turtle taxa and more than 2500 animals, Turtle Island (Styria, Austria) is already the most species-rich turtle ark worldwide. Of the 50 most endangered turtle species, we care for 37 and breed 35 of them. With your help, we can protect turtles who are in great danger.
