We provide quality veterinary care to stray animals as well as refuge and rehabilitation, in our beautiful free-roaming sanctuary in the south of Sri Lanka, providing a safe haven for sick, disabled and vulnerable stray dogs.
The monsoon rains are upon us once again so its crucial that we complete further rain shelters for our residents on the lower site. Shelter works were put on hold due to Covid-19 restrictions but with the rains starting again our poor residents are suffering. They form their own packs and will not find shelter outside of their pack, so if its an area generally not undercover they get soaked through. Dogs are just as likely to get pneumonia as humans and some of our dogs are getting on in age.

The past two years of no-fundraising, due to the pandemic, have finally caught up with us and we are REALLY struggling. A few days ago we announced that we only had one weeks running costs left in the bank, and after our plea, we have received some funds to enable us to carry on for another week. Please share this group on your social media in the hope that your friends, family or colleagues will jump on board with us. It's the regular funds coming in, no matter how small, that secure our future.
