Animal Law Italia ETS (ALI) is a non-profit association founded in 2016 by a group of lawyers expert in animal protection, together with experts in animal welfare and bioethics, to bring to Italy a new innovative approach to the legal protection of animals and develop ethical discussion about the treatment of animals within society. Our team is still made up almost entirely of volunteers and independent researchers.

Animal Law Italia ETS

The SOS animALI project was created to reduce the number of animal victims of cruelty, through the commitment of our team of lawyers who are experts in animal law. Many people have reported to us the need for a clear, authoritative and always updated tool that indicates the best strategy to protect animals in every situation. Many have told us of their profound frustration when faced with the hesitations of the police, and the need for indications to obtain rapid and decisive intervention from the guardians of the law. With SOS animals we want to respond to this need. By the end of 2024 we will create a website to explain to citizens in a simple and immediate way how to intervene quickly and effectively in the event of mistreatment and to save animals in difficulty. But we won't stop here!
