Spina bifida affects the central nervous system, the musculoskeletal system, and the genitourinary system, causing limitations in mobility, sensitivity, and strength. Additionally, it can lead to incontinence and, in a high percentage of cases, hydrocephalus. These lifelong consequences mean that people with spina bifida face daily challenges and barriers in healthcare, accessibility, and social inclusion. That is why it is essential for them to have access to specialized treatments and services that improve their quality of life and promote their personal development and well-being. With the contribution of 25 teamers, one physiotherapy or psychology session can be provided to a person. Your help makes a difference—you directly contribute to improving the lives of people with spina bifida. A small gesture can create a big change!
