Jhadiel lives with his mother and two siblings. The mother's income is not enough to cover the family's basic needs. In fact, they usually eat chicken soup every day, and bread with tea for breakfast and dinner. Eventually this diet led the children to suffer from malnutrition. “When the children came to the dining hall, it was difficult for them to get used to eating vegetables, meat and fish, because they were not used to it. Now Jhadiel enjoys every dish, has more energy and attends the dining hall with a lot of enthusiasm,” says the project manager. There are currently 150 children like Habby and Jhadiel attending the soup kitchens. These 150 children are those whose health is already being affected by malnutrition or malnutrition problems, like millions of children in the world according to the UN. For this reason, we want to provide them with adequate food for another year, thus improving their school performance, preventing health problems and ensuring their development.
